La Început – Cuvântul...

La Început, Cuvântul a fost
şi Cuvântul s-a Luminat în Om,
în floare, în stele, în lună,
în piatră, fântâni şi în mare.
Omul a luat cuvintele,
le-a amestecat,
le-a compus prin fulgii de nea,
în stropii de ploaie,
în vânt şi miresme de frunze,
în floarea-de-colţ, în Steaua Polară,
în suflet-pereche, în nu-mă-uita,
în gândul din vis,
într-o caligramă.
Cuvintele au început să zboare,
un dans
spre cer şi spre soare.
Din teamă, omul le-a smuls,
le-a îndepărtat,
le-a ascuns în adâncuri,
formând noi cuvinte,
mereu mutilate,
psalmi de dor şi de jale,
cuvântul durere, răni, boală şi
moarte,
noroi, întuneric,
cuvinte udate în lacrimi din veşnica
teamă.
Treptat cuvintele s-au stins
prin gări, în spitale, pe fronturi,
războaie.
Au mai rămas amintiri
şi umbrele lor
în inimi, în cânturi,
în poveşti, balade şi doine,
mici felinare
în zboruri de fluturi,
petale de lotus, priviri de copil,
gânduri-poeme
în muguri de floare, în raze de
soare...
At First - The word ...

First, there was the Word
and the Word was enlightened in the
man,
in flower, in stars, in moon,
in stone fountains and in sea.
The man took the words,
mixed them,
composed them through snowflakes,
in the rain’s drops, in wind and in
scent of leaves, in Edelweiss, in the North Star
in soulmates, in forget-me-not,
in thoughts from dreams,
in a calligrame.
The words began to fly,
a dance to sky and to sun.
Beacause of fear, man has snatched
them.
He took them away,
Hid them in depths
creating new words,
always mutilated
psalms of longing and dreariness,
the word pain, wounds, illness and
death,
mud, darkness,
words watered in tears of eternal
fear.
Gradually the words have faded
in rail stations,in hospitals, on
fronts, wars.
There are memories left
and their shadows
in the hearts, in chants,
in tales, in ballads,
Small lanterns
in flights of butterflies,
lotus petals, child’s glances
thoughts-poems
flower buds, in rays of sunshine…
